He Puna Tārei, Room 5; Year Four

 Max, Laken and Erueti are very proud to lead the class ruruku every morning and they do a terrific job. Ka pai tō mahi, nga tane! Kia ora 

As part of our Inquiry, we have been learning about threats to the oranga / wellness of the world's oceans. We created artworks to depict marine life and pollution that surrounds them. We need to be mindful of what we do! "A dropped bit of plastic could blow into a drain and get washed out to sea and oneday kill a poor sea creature!" said Izabella.

Term 2 - Week 7 Kelly and Peaches came to school to teach us all about how to keep ourselves safe around dogs. We learnt heaps! Did you know that unless you know the dog really well that you shouldn't pat it on the head? "I liked patting Peaches!" said Danielle. "She was soft."

We drew pictures to show how we are feeling today as part of our Reo Māori learning... I hope you are not REALLY riri, Izaeyah?! ;)
