Creating Artworks In Te Whare Manaaki

As part of our Inquiry, we have been learning about threats to the oranga / wellness of the world's oceans. We created artworks to depict marine life and pollution that surrounds them. We need to be mindful of what we do! "A dropped bit of plastic could blow into a drain and get washed out to sea and oneday kill a poor sea creature!" said Izabella.

Dog Safety Education

Term 2 - Week 7 Kelly and Peaches came to school to teach us all about how to keep ourselves safe around dogs. We learnt heaps! Did you know that unless you know the dog really well that you shouldn't pat it on the head? "I liked patting Peaches!" said Danielle. "She was soft."
